This is not a Blue (Polyommatinae). It is a Copper (Lycaeninae) and appears to be a fine example of Lycaena editha. In Inyo county I presume it to be the nominate Lycaena editha editha using the common name Edith's Copper. Not sure of gender without dorsal view.
