| C. nutans does not have an involucre like the ones shown in this photo. Thus, I believe the plant is misidentified. It might be a sun spurge (Euphorbia helioscopia), but it's not C. nutans. (note:CalPhoto's 3 other C. nutans photos show a very different plant than this one.) |
