Castilleja peirsonii (Peirson's Paintbrush) | Note short but well-exserted, bright yellow corolla beak, with no sign of wavy-margined leaves. Also note that I do not follow the Jepson Manual in treating this taxon as a synonym of C. parviflora and continue to regard it as a distinctive California endemic. |
