Plethodon chattahoochee |
| The salamander in this picture is likely from Pigeon Mountain, Walker County. The picture was taken the same day as pictures of Plethodon petraeus which is endemic to Pigeon Mountain, Walker County, Georgia. The member of the Plethodon glutinosus complex which is currently recognized from Pigeon Mountain, Walker County, Georgia is Plethodon glutinosus. There are some peaks in Georgia called Pigeon Mountain that are within the range of Plethodon chattahoochee but none are accessible by road or hiking trail. |
