The site reported (Alameda) is well within Rana draytonii range; contact zone with Rana aurora is through Mendocino County to north. Specimen is much more rugose than aurora, with less (no) red on sides; also dorsalateral folds very distinct. The species have been separated since this photo was put in this database.
