Rotala ramosior (Indian Toothcup, Toothcup) | Ludwigia palustris |
| After becoming familiar with Ludwigia palustris and failing to find Rotala ramosier while botanizing mud flats in Madera County, I realized these photos are of the former. I contacted Chico Herbarium where a specimen was deposited, and L. Janeway agreed that it is Ludwigia palustris and annotated the specimen. | ||||

| "This species was confirmed by UC Berkeley many years ago. Also it is not from Madera County per updated comment and not clear what Madera County has to do with specimen collected 226 miles north. Annotation stands until collector acquires more information. | ||||
