01/06/2008 CalPhotos Staff  comment Sphaenorhynchus surdus
This species is indistinguishable from Sphaenorhynchus caramaschii, which was described in 2007, except by DNA analysis. The frog in this image may be either S. caramaschii or S. surdus. This comment added in response to email from Felipe Toledo to the AmphibiaWeb Team.
