Trifolium albopurpureum var. albopurpureum (Indian Clover) |
Trifolium columbinum | This is one of several species with corolla shorter than calyx. Originally published by Greene and resurrected from synonymy on basis of DNA, morphology and range. Note absence of spreading hair on stems (vs T. griseum), broad leaves, short corollas, and purple calyx teeth. T. albopurpureum has corolla somewhat longer than calyx, and longer calyx tube with >10 veins |
