05/05/2005 David Graber  taxon changed Arctostaphylos morroensis Arctostaphylos pechoensis (Pecho Manzanita)
Apparently mislabeled by arboretum. A. morroensis has distinct petioles and convex heterofacial leaves. This manzanita belongs to the auriculate-clasping group. Looks like A. pechoensis by color; could be A. luciana. Nice photo, however.
