07/07/2005	According to Flora of North America (on efloras.org), Minuartia has more than 5 stamens, unlike the pictured caryophyllaceae. The two massive leaf clusters per node pictured also distinguish Spergula arvensis. Minuartia's clusters are smaller in size & number of leaves.
