Acmispon cytisoides |
Lotus scoparius var. perplexans | Bentham's Hosackia cytisoides has flowers that fade to a purple hue. I think this is Lotus scoparius var. perplexans (Hoover). An isotype of that variety has recurved calyx lobes, yellow flowers, fruit more included in the calyx, long peduncles, and leaves with 5 leaflets. It was collected north of Malpaso Creek. |
