I hold Bachelor and Master Degrees in Geography with a particular focus in biogeography, vegetation ecology, and field botany. Since 2005, I have been a professional general field biologist and field botanist with federal agencies, private timber companies, and private consulting firm. I have taken numerous botany courses in my graduate studies and have frequently worked, consulted, or "botanized" with several very experienced botanists in California. I have extensive knowledge of the flora of the Sonoma County and surrounding counties.
