| Susan Prince grew up in and lives in a small town in the Sierra. She has a B.A. in history and an M.A. in education from Stanford. After many years as the program manager for Sacramento public TV station KVIE, she managed the Placer County Web site for the Placer County Public Information Office. She retired in late 2004.
