|Stephen Dowlan is a Natural Resource Specialist with U. S. Forest Service in northwest Pennsylvania. He works as a Planning team Leader for Allegheny National Forest, with primary responsibilities in NEPA analysis. Stephen received a B.S. in Natural Resources from Oregon State University, with a specialty in Arid Lands Ecology. Although native to northwestern Pennsylvania, he was an Oregon resident for 29 years, and traveled and birded extensively in many remote parts of Oregon and the arid west.|
|Special interests: Oregon birds, particularly harlequin ducks and fox sparrows, terrestrial mollusks, terrestrial amphibians and native plants.|
