| Michele Menegon's research focuses on the herpetofauna of East Africa, examining global diversification patterns, phylogenetic relationships and radiation/speciation patterns of amphibians and reptiles. He is a member of the IUCN Amphibian Specialist Group, the Chameleon Specialist Group, and an editorial board member of the African Journal of Herpetology. Currently he is at the Museo Tridentino di Scienze Naturali in Trento, Italy.
