|I am currently a doctoral candidate at Southern Illinois University Carbondale, studying the roles of ecological filters, plant population sources, species pools and time on community composition in tallgrass prairie restorations. I have worked as a botanist/GIS analyst for the Illinois Natural History Survey's CTAP (Critical Trends Assessment Program) and as a botanist for the U.S. Geological Survey in Henderson, NV where I studied low elevation plant communities in the Mojave and Sonoran Deserts.|
|Special interests: Community and restoration ecology, particularly associated with tallgrass prairies of the eastern Great Plains.|
