| I am retired and live in the mountains of NC at an elevation of 3500 feet, on what was formerly a working farm with about 25 acres of natural wooded area located in rural Ashe County. I have been a photographer of natural plants for 40 years, specializing in macro work. The areas around me are filled with plants and wild flowers native to this part of NC. My wife, Betty, is the identifier of the wildflowers. We are both strictly amateurs but with a long interest. |
