Fred Kraus is a vertebrate zoologist at the Bishop Museum, Honolulu, Hawaii. Research interests include systematics, biogeography, and conservation of the Papuan herpetofauna; patterns and processes of alien species invasions (amphibians and reptiles), both globally and in Hawaii; and assessment of various aspects of life history for invasive amphibian and reptile species in Hawaii.
