| David J. Simi lives in San Jose, CA and works as a wildlife biologist for Olberding Environmental, Inc. based in Concord. He works all around the Bay Area and throughout California taking pictures of and identifying plants and wildlife. David J. Simi graduated from San Jose State University in 2004 with a BS in Environmental Studies with minors in Biology and Communications. He has always had an appreciation for nature and has recently taken up photography as a hobby. Skim boarding, surfing, camping, hiking, and bike riding are among some of his interests. | | Special interests: Most of the plants and animals David takes pictures of are of rare species indigenous to California's Central Valley.
