| Larry Blakely is Emeritus Professor, Biological Sciences, Cal Poly, Pomona (AKA Cal State, Pomona) living near Bishop, California in his retirement. After a career as a plant physiologist he has been trying to get back to his natural history roots, studying the Eastern Sierra flora in the field and on the computer screen - with much help coming from the CalFlora project. Digital photography, the internet, woodworking, birdwatching, opera, and gardening number among his other interests. Larry is a regular contributor of photographs of plants. |
