Steve Lowens

Steve Lowens is an enthusiastic amateur botanist who got his start in 1976 at CNPS and by taking classes from Dr. Robert West and the late Al Molina at College of Marin. Steve travelled throughout the US collecting photos of all the species of Calochortus that grow in the country and now gives slide presentations to CNPS, California Academy of Sciences, and similar organizations.
