| Marine biologist Vincent B. Hargreaves received his bachelors’ degree from University of Reading, United Kingdom, in electronic engineering in 1977. He subsequently earned his masters in marine zoology and aquatic botany at Liverpool John Moores University in the United Kingdom, and his Ph.D. from Cal.
