Scolopacidae
notes While I have observed the rare and vulnerable Bristle-thighed Curlew in many locations on Sand Island, Midway Atoll, a large group tends to prefer a more remote location, close to the water on a short, steep sandy hill with Ironwood trees. This location is north facing and overlooks the large lagoon of the Atoll.camera Nikon D-80, Nikkor 28-200mm 1:3.5-5.6D
