plant community Pinyon-Oak-Juniper woodland, severely burned over in 2002, now a seccesional grassland with abundant grasses and forbs, and scattered stump resprouts of shrubs and occassional trees at 6535 feet (1992 meters)notes area subject to a major forest fire in 2002 and is now an open post-fire grassland on crest of low gravelly limestone hill with dark sandy calcareous loam above the Rio Penasco River valley.keywords: Sacramento Mts., Sac.
