  • notes   along roadside drainage crossing a flat plain of slightly gypseous, calcareous alluvial soil and scattered gravels. Although normally considered perennial in nature, such short lived flowering displays on the normally arid plains more often resemble ephemeral annuals after exceptional monsoonal rains.
