  • plant community   sarcophyllous desert thorn scrub at 21m (70'')
  • notes   in thorn scrub thicket on coarse granitic soil of gently sloping coastal plain. Semi-succulent plant with few smooth, slender, gray-green wand-like stems, ascending or spreading and often leafless during dry season. Easily overlooked if not in bloom.
