  • location   northern Inyo Mountains, close to Lime Hill and Death Valley Road, along Harlis and Brody Mine Road (Inyo County, California, US)
  • notes   This taxon in northern Inyo county seems to cluster along the east slopes of the White- Inyo range. Here it appears almost white, while all populations observed in the Last Chance Range further east were var. ambigua, all orange in color.
