  • family Solanaceae
  • plant community   Deciduous thornscrub at 1355m (4450')
  • notes   plants on steep slope of accumulated volcanic rhyolitic tuff rubble and alluvium of lower canyon in deciduous small tree forest with Acacia, Ipomoea, Bursera, Celtis, Lysiloma, Tecoma. Some treat this plant as a synonym under the more tropical species, S. houstonii.
