Near Odessa (Ector County, Texas, US)notes This sample comes from the largest of three clustered impact craters in West Texas date from the late Pleistocene and are probably not more than 60,000 years old. This iron meteorite is classified structurally as a coarse octahedrite and chemically as IAB.
