Mangart alpine cottage, East Julian Alps (Posočje, Slovenia)notes Slo.: nasprotnolistni kamnokreč - Habitat: almost at the bottom of a snow valley, in crevices of west oriented, vertical sides of large rock boulder; open, sunny place, calcareous rock with some siliceous component, average precipitations ~ 3.000 mm/year, average temperature 1-2 deg C, elevation 1.870 m (6.020 feet), alpine phytogeographical region. - Substratum: soil in rock crevices of large rock boulder. - Comment: Picture 32 show a plant which was damaged by frosts a few days before photographing. - Ref.: (1) A.
