  • plant community   Non-native herb/grassland
  • notes   ONE monarch caterpillar on caged milkweed plant drowning in sea of non-native plants. Observed this small population for over ten years. Population has remained very small. Less than 20 plants. None observed within 100 meters or more. May be bottlenecked. Show signs of blight/fungal infection. Only successful plants are those in wire cages, otherwise flowers get clipped by herbivores.
