notes Detail of flowers of Phacelia ramosissima. The striking contrast between the intricate venation and the pale windows in between are a source of delight for me...reminiscent of one of my favorite Phacelia species, the annual P. exilis. I had been a major fan of Phacelia for some time before this species even registered on my radar. Considering how widespread and conspicuous it is, I'm puzzled by how little I hear it mentioned or discussed among botanists. photo category: Plant - annual/perennial
