  • notes   The Jepson eFlora description states this species is a 'Probable derivative of Eriophyllum lanatum var. arachnoideum × Eriophyllum confertiflorum. Ken Himes remarked to me that the leaves suggest possible involvement of E. staechadifolium as well, which is common and abundant all along the coastal fog belt of the San Francisco peninsula...nearby to the west of the location here .
