  • notes   Inflorescence of Eriogonum compositum var. compositum, seen with a female ''fairy moth'' (Adela septentrionella...see this BugGuide post).

    Found a bit under 7000' on the ridge just south of the summit of Snow Mountain West. The ridge is the boundary between Lake County on the west and Colusa County on the east.
