plant community Sphagnum bog community in coastal temperate rainforest at 21 m (70') elev.notes on hummocks at margins of large open acidic wetland bog with dwarfed Pinus contortus, Chamaecyparis nootkatensis. Note the small purple petals of the corollas forming the central flower cluster above the white bracts. Leaves are bunched at top of short stem.keywords: CAN
