  • habitat  Roadside--Texas Ranchland/residential; Pastures and treed riparian
  • notes   Clean-up crew--Many Black (and a few Turkey V. out of photo) Vultures gathered to consume an unfortunate Beagle that had been hit by a car while trying to cross the road. The Beagle was just bones and hide on the following afternoon. Road kill dogs are a more common sight in South Texas around Alamo, but there are fewer Black Vultures. Ssp atratus.
