  • notes   Pseudocalotes andamanensis was described by G. A. Boulenger (as Calotes andamanensis) from Andaman Islands in 1891 based on a single specimen collected by Adolph deRoepstorff. It's locality was considered to be in doubt and there was an erroneous report from Western Ghats in South India in 1999. This species was rediscovered from Andaman Islands in 2011.
