Lower Trenta valley, upstream from Soča village, between abandoned farmhouses Strgulc and Koc, East Julian Alps (Posočje, Slovenia)notes Slo.: lasasti kapičar - Habitat: long time ago abandoned pasture, south oriented mountain slope, among bushes, dominant Corylus avellana, and young Picea abies, Fraxinus ornus and Ostrya carpinifolia, thin sandy soil layer, calcareous ground but possibly superficially acid(?), partly in shade, warm and dry place, exposed to direct rain, average precipitations ~ 3.000 mm/year, average temperature 8-10 deg C, elevation 605 m (2.000 feet), alpine phytogeographical region. - Substratum: soil. - Comment: Determination not completely certain.
