Height of redwood at time of last fire is indicated by snags. Associated chaparral species are Castanopsis chrysophylla var. minor, Arctostaphylos tomentosa subsp. crinita (=Arctostaphylos tomentosa), Quercus wislizeni and Pickeringia montana. Conifers upper left are knobcone pines. Quad name: Santa Cruz. Quad number: 84. Reference to map: 17.
