Bovec basin, northeast of Žvikar inn, between Bovec and village Žaga, East Julian Alps (Posočje, Slovenia)notes Slo.: trizoba kukavica - Habitat: Wet, occasionally flooded grassland near wood edge, flat terrain, full sun, calcareous bedrock, exposed to direct rain, average precipitations ~ 3.000 mm/year, average temperature 8-10 deg C, elevation 345 m (1.100 feet), alpine phytogeographical region. - Substratum: soil. - Comment: Protected according to 'Uredba o zavarovanih prosto živečih rastlinskih vrstah' Ur.l. RS, št. 46/2004.
