notes Habit shot. This photo was taken the first spring after a major fire in the patchwork chaparral/oak woodland (sandy substrate) in the interior of Fort Ord (now publicly accessible BLM land). The abundance, diversity, and exuberance of flowering plants was phenomenal!camera Shot at f9 1/125, on a Canon D60 with a Canon 50mm compact macro lens.
