Polemoniaceae
notes synonym: Gilia subacaulis. Sorry this whole plant image was so crappy, I wanted to show the branching at the base. Will replace at a later time. Read Jepson taxonomic details where it states 'Porter considers Gilia leptomeria [Aliciella leptomeria] and Gilia subacaulis (Aliciella subacaulis) to be separate species, neither of which occurs in CA, and that California material referred to Gilia subacaulis (Aliciella subacaulis) actually is an undescribed species.'contributor's ID # PolemoniaceaeAliciellasubacaulis1-6758.jpg photo category: Plant - annual/perennial
