notes Endangered Clarkia springvillensis (a very local endemic) and the common closely related taxon Clarkia unguiculata grow mixed in populations. Plants can be separated in the field through the presence of hairs on C. unguiculata outer calyx and ovary. C. Springvillensis is virtually hairless.
