habitat Found under bark of a felled hardwood log in a clearing. Habitat is subtropical rainforest (receiving over 6 meters of rainfallnotes The animal shown in this photo is an adult female. It escaped (or was stolen) from the Museum of Vertebrate Zoology a few days after its arrival in 1975, prior to preservation. It is one of only two specimens ever found of this species; the other is the holotype, MVZ 134634.photo category: Animal - Amphibian
