|Action: changed name from "Alligator mississippiensis" to "Caiman crocodilus
| ||"Species misidentified. Juvenile A. mississippiensis are black with yellow bands, not brown with black bands. Additionally, A. mississippiensis lacks the infraorbital ridge that is clearly visible in the individuals in this photo. This ridge is one of the key diagnostic characters of Caiman crocodilus.|
