notes Though Tricardia watsonii flowers have five sepals, three are enlarged and heart-shaped, while the other two are linear and relatively inconspicuous. On the open flower here, two of the enlarged sepals are clearly visible, the tip of the third can be seen behind the corolla, and you can see the tip of one of the linear sepals jutting out to the right. The three enlarged sepals are clearly visible on the immature flower below and left of the open one.photo category: Plant - annual/perennial
