notes A population of uncharacteristic fawn lilies was observed on a serpentine ridge in spring 2009 in an area burned by wildfire the previous summer. Specimens have been examined by a genus expert, Geraldine Allen, Ph.D. at the University of Victoria, B.C. Additional specimens were shipped to Dr. Allen in 2010 for genetic analysis.
