  • location   Plumas National forest, serpentine ridge above Concow, CA (Butte County, California, US)
  • family Liliaceae
  • notes   A population of uncharacteristic fawn lilies was observed on a serpentine ridge in spring 2009 in an area burned by wildfire the previous summer. Specimens have been examined by a genus expert, Geraldine Allen, Ph.D. at the University of Victoria, B.C. Additional specimens were shipped to Dr. Allen in 2010 for genetic analysis. No definitive diagnosis of their ID has been determined, yet.
