| Reviewer's comments: | | | | "Callithrix jacchus is similar, but it has white or grayish circumauricular tufts (White-ear-tufted marmoset) while Callithrix penicillata has blackish circumauricular tufts (Black-ear-tufted marmoset). See Walker's Mammals of the World, Ronald Nowak Vol.I p. 565 - Johns Hopkins.
