  • location   Bryce Canyon National Park, off of trail connecting Navajo Loop Trail with Peekaboo Trail (Garfield County, Utah, US)
  • family Salicaceae
  • notes   Fall foliage. This species readily hybridizes with Populus fremontii, and there are many intermediate forms between the two species. Populus x hinckleyana is the name given to the hybrid between the two, but this specimen seems to show leaf characteristics that are intermediate between P. angustifolia and P. x hinckleyana. Elevation ca. 7,450 feet. 12:18 pm.
